【胡治言／綜合報導】全球搜尋引擎龍頭Google台灣資料中心，昨在彰化縣彰濱工業區落成營運。

今日出版的《蘋果》報導，Google台灣資料中心，昨在彰化縣彰濱工業區落成營運，資料中心設在彰化，讓亞洲多了一個備份處，更讓台灣民眾搜尋速度增加千分之一或萬分之一秒。Google全球資料中心副總裁Joe Kava宣布，因台灣投資環境友善，投資金額由3億美元加碼到6億美元（約178億台幣）。資料中心外觀低調，但辦公室裝潢延續美國總部風格，有吃不完的零食，來賓讚說：「這裡充滿元氣和活力，真想來工作！」
