雪白梅花綴枝枒　梅山公園賞梅正當時

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】梅山公園位於嘉義縣梅山鄉市區，面積約6公頃，曾是嘉義八景之一「梅坑月霽」，日據時代便開始種植梅樹，由於公園沒有收門票，每年梅花盛開時人山人海。
 
今天假日湧入遊客賞梅，大家拿著相機、手機拍攝雪白傲骨梅花，盛開的梅花招惹蜜蜂花間採蜜，小朋友興奮地大叫：「蜜蜂在採梅！」
 
梅山公園的老梅樹枝幹蜿蜒蒼勁，傲骨獨特，漫步在梅花小徑，兩旁梅樹相伴，純白的五瓣花朵點綴梅樹點點雪白，微風輕輕吹過來，空氣中飄著淡淡梅香，令人心曠神怡。
 
梅山鄉早年梅子種植面積相當可觀，當地有將近20家產銷梅製品的老牌店家，梅子蜜餞和梅子風味料理都是不可錯過的好滋味。
