超級颱風海燕重創菲律賓，造成嚴重的死傷與損失，雖然Western Digital位於菲律賓北部分公司並未受到直接的影響，但是數以百計的員工們多有親友因此遭逢變故。目前菲律賓的通訊仍十分有限，使災區狀況令人更為擔憂。

Western Digital基金會捐款10萬元美金給菲律賓紅十字會，並呼籲WD粉絲們共同響應賑災之義舉，為救災工作的伸出援手。透過下列菲律賓紅十字會與國際紅十字會的網站，一起為菲律賓災民盡一份心力。
