英國氣象局警告民眾準備因應十年來最嚴重的暴風雨。這暴風雨將從周一晚上開始襲擊英國南部，周日晚上起，六到九小時內將會降下20到40公釐的雨量，可能造成局部洪災，接著將是最高時速130公里的強風。氣象局發布amber級警戒，那是四級裡的第三高警戒。當局呼籲民眾周一少出門。多家地鐵公司已宣布周一上午停駛，直到安全為止。航空公司也警告，航班可能會不正常。
