嫁妝不足又產女　印婦遭鎖浴室達3年

印度一名25歲女子，因為嫁妝不足，以及產下的為女兒非兒子，遭夫家嫌棄，並鎖在浴室長達3年。由於長期待在暗無天日的地方，她獲救重見光明時，連眼睛也無法睜開。

警方發現該名女子時，她留有極長的指甲，頭髮凌亂乾燥，而且衣衫襤褸。她長時間被關在浴室裏，平常三餐不繼，也無法與女兒見面。 該名受害人於2010年嫁予丈夫辛格（Prabhat Kumar Singh），但新婚不久便開始遭夫家虐待，向她索取更多嫁妝。但由於她無法添置嫁妝，也未能為丈夫添丁，最終慘遭禁錮。

涉事女子一直無法向父母求助，親人登門造訪時也被拒。警方最終接到女子父親報警求助時，才揭發這宗慘案。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
